Who we are

Yamato Cars is a Japan-based vehicle sourcing and export company and part of Yamato Group. Our head office is in Kanagawa Prefecture, with regional teams serving customers in Kenya and Tanzania.

What we do

We help you choose a vehicle, check it with the seller in Japan, prepare a quotation, complete the purchase once you have paid, and handle export preparation, inspection where applicable, and shipping.

How we source

Most vehicles are found on GOONET Exchange, an independent marketplace where many sellers in Japan list their cars. We do not own GOONET Exchange or its listings, and we do not present them as our stock.

Being in Japan means we can talk to sellers directly, in Japanese, during Japanese business hours, and manage export paperwork locally.
